Principal Platform Engineer || Internal Developer Platform (AI-Native Engineering)

What you will do

• Build and operate the greenfield Internal Developer Platform end to end.
• Implement self-service workflows, service catalogues, scaffolders, and golden path templates.
• Integrate platform tooling with Kairos, Nexus, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Create developer-facing documentation and enablement materials for product teams.
• Support product engineering teams and resolve platform reliability and performance issues.
• Contribute to platform standards, architectural decisions, and the Internal Developer Platform roadmap.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building or operating Internal Developer Platforms in production.
• Experience with Backstage, Port, Cortex, or comparable platform tooling, including service catalogues, scaffolders, golden paths, and self-service infrastructure workflows.
• Strong engineering experience with Go, React, Next.js, Apache Kafka or Redpanda, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, DevOps toolchains, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes on AKS, containers, and GitOps.
• Demonstrable experience building, shipping, and operating production AI applications; experience limited to using AI coding assistants is not sufficient.
• Ability to support development teams and work across platform and product boundaries.
