TL;DR
Senior Project Manager (Financial Services): Leading end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex change and transformation projects in the Life business with an accent on governance, regulatory change, risk management, and financial control. Focus on defining business cases, managing stakeholders and delivery partners, turning around failing projects, and ensuring benefits are realised within agreed tolerances.
Location: Stirling, Edinburgh or London, UK; two office days per week

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex projects within the Life business Change & Transformation team.
- Define business cases, objectives, scope, resources, project plans, expected benefits, and delivery work packages.
- Manage governance, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, forecasts, change controls, and project documentation.
- Lead stakeholder communication, steering updates, workshops, lessons learned, and benefits realisation.
- Coordinate internal teams, technology functions, external suppliers, and delivery partners.
- Coach project managers, support capability development, and complete project handover to BAU.
Requirements
- Significant demonstrable experience delivering projects end to end, including turning around failing projects.
- Financial Services experience and experience delivering risk, controls, or regulatory change.
- Experience leading business, technical, and regulatory projects in highly controlled and regulated environments.
- Advanced practical understanding of project management methodologies, governance, planning, and budgetary control.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work from the Stirling, Edinburgh, or London office two days per week.
