Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Maidenhead, UK (Hybrid). Must be a British Citizen resident in the UK for the past 5-10 years to obtain required security clearance.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept to close-out.
• Manage the complete bid lifecycle, including RFP/ITT/RFI reviews, bid planning, and submission strategies.
• Establish governance structures to guide projects and bids through defined lifecycle and assurance gates.
• Develop and control detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure scope and timescale commitments are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and procurement to achieve project objectives.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies while providing accurate reporting to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Proven project management experience within an engineering or technology environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and lifecycle models.
• Proficiency in Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing customer relationships, ideally within the Defence Sector.
• Expertise in project management tools such as MS Project and Jira.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain DV security clearance.

Nice to have

• Formal certification in project management (APM PMQ, PRINCE2, AgilePM).
• Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Track record of delivering projects involving software, firmware, and hardware integration.
• Experience managing physical production or product through life support.
