Senior Strategy and Change Practitioner

Location: Any UK office hub: Bristol, London, Manchester, or Swansea. Part-time remote working is available.

Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement strategy and organisational change approaches for strategically significant public sector engagements.
• Advise clients and multidisciplinary teams on transformation initiatives including cost reduction, workforce transformation, operating models, enterprise agility, and continuous improvement.
• Translate business drivers, goals, and constraints into capabilities, business outcomes, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Identify stakeholders, lead engagement and communications, and assess business readiness for change.
• Track adoption, risks, issues, and benefits while reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, practice development, tools, templates, and training.

Requirements

• Experience delivering valuable, lasting change within a transformation team.
• Working knowledge of change management, business transformation, and strategy frameworks.
• Ability to use digital technology and data to support informed decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with client consulting, analysis, option evaluation, problem resolution, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience preparing organisations for change, managing risks and issues, and implementing readiness plans.
• Ability to work from one of the UK office hubs: Bristol, London, Manchester, or Swansea. Successful candidates must undertake SC clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience applying behavioural insights to public sector work.
• Knowledge of business analysis, service design, product management, or experience design.
• Familiarity with the GDS Service Manual.
