Senior AI Tech Consultant (Telecommunications)

What you will do

• Lead substantial workstreams addressing complex technology and transformation challenges for telecommunications clients.
• Transform telco BSS/OSS and digital estates across customer, product, order, billing, charging, service management, and assurance capabilities.
• Shape digital channels, CRM, customer care, contact-centre platforms, and AI-enabled customer interactions.
• Develop cloud, platform, engineering, DevSecOps, GenAI, agentic AI, and automation strategies from pilot to scaled impact.
• Build AI value pools, business cases, roadmaps, governance models, and value-tracking approaches.
• Lead client workshops, communicate executive recommendations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, coach junior colleagues, and contribute to proposals and client relationships.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, software development, technology delivery, or programme management.
• Previous technology consulting experience solving complex client technology and transformation problems.
• Strong telecommunications industry knowledge and experience with communications service providers or related ecosystems.
• Strong experience in at least two areas including telco platforms, digital experience, cloud and engineering transformation, data and GenAI, technology operating models, or technology economics and sourcing.
• Understanding of GenAI and agentic AI applications, responsible AI, workflow redesign, data and platform requirements, adoption, and value realisation.
• Strong problem-solving, business acumen, stakeholder communication, workshop leadership, workstream management, and coaching skills, with excellent English communication and a STEM or business management degree.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or MSc.
• Knowledge of modular, API-enabled telco platforms and relevant TM Forum standards.
