Distribution District Manager – Antelope Valley (Utility Operations): Leading district operations covering safety, logistics, distribution construction, maintenance, and financial performance with an accent on grid hardening, resource scheduling, and field operations. Location: Lancaster, California, United States; on-site at an SCE facility or in the field. The role requires up to 50% travel throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation may apply.

Salary: $182,800–$274,100 per year

What you will do

  • Lead district operations across safety, logistics, distribution construction, maintenance, and financial management.
  • Direct Frontline Field Supervisors, Production Specialist, Field Services, Meter Services, Business Office functions, and bargaining unit employees.
  • Define resourcing plans for maintenance targets and grid hardening initiatives.
  • Establish field safety audit and incident investigation guidelines, ensuring EH&S policies and training requirements are followed.
  • Optimize budget allocation, resource scheduling, material distribution, and crew productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing maintenance process flows and protecting company and customer data.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience supervising direct reports and/or managing projects.
  • Experience in utility operations, construction, or engineering.
  • Ability to work on-site in Lancaster, California, and in field locations.
  • Willingness to travel and work in the field for up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to complete a NERC/CIP personnel risk assessment or background investigation and required training before receiving unescorted access.
