Return to Work Specialist / Senior Case Manager

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored return-to-work plans for injured workers.
• Coordinate recovery and return-to-work strategies with workers, employers, treating practitioners, and insurers.
• Arrange suitable duties and workplace modifications to support safe and sustainable work resumption.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Workers' Compensation legislation and guidelines.
• Identify recovery barriers, manage risks, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in return to work, injury management, claims management, or Workers' Compensation.
• Experience managing complex claims and competing priorities, preferably in a senior case management capacity.
• Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation legislation and return-to-work frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field are desirable.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced team members is highly regarded.

Nice to have

• Allied health experience in rehabilitation counselling, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy.
