Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Manila, Philippines. Full-time onsite position. Applicants must provide satisfactory proof of their right to work in the Philippines.

What you will do

• Develop ATE test and characterization programs using Nextest Magnum and Advantest T2K.
• Create characterization test plans and execute wafer-level, package-level, and bench testing across process, temperature, and voltage conditions.
• Use statistical analysis to define product datasheet parameters and report characterization results.
• Design test circuits with FPGA fabric and embedded IP, along with ATE and bench hardware.
• Develop bench automation, data collection scripts, and programs.
• Investigate product marginalities, test yield, and test time while coordinating root-cause resolution with cross-functional engineering groups.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of individual-contributor experience in product engineering or silicon validation and characterization.
• BS degree in ECE, CoE, EE, Physics, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor devices, test methodologies, WAT/etest, wafer sort, package assembly, and final test.
• Experience with IC validation and characterization using oscilloscopes, pattern generators, data timing generators, multimeters, and similar bench tools.
• Knowledge of Python or C++, statistical process control, yield analysis, and statistical analysis software such as SAS JMP or R.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate across cultures and multiple engineering groups.

Nice to have

• Experience with programmable logic, RTL design, and design verification.
• Knowledge of DFT methodologies, including scan and BIST, fault grading, and hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
