IT Operations Manager (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Fully onsite in NYC five days a week; hybrid and remote work are not available.

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Set up and operate meeting technology, including Zoom Rooms, All Hands spaces, and office displays.
• Own the Ubiquiti network, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, badge access, visitor badges, and access logs.
• Deploy and maintain employee desk setups, monitors, docks, peripherals, and ergonomic equipment.
• Provide walk-up support to in-office employees and remote technical support for a global workforce.
• Partner with Workplace Operations and People on office build-out, moves, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Administer SSO, MDM, MacBook configuration, fleet standards, and core tools including Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on IT operations experience.
• Experience standing up office technology, including AV, conference rooms, enterprise networking, and physical access control.
• Admin-level experience with SSO and MDM in a Mac-first environment.
• Experience hiring and managing outsourced MSP, AV, ISP, networking, Wi-Fi, and hardware vendors.
• Clear, proactive communication, empathy for users, and the ability to stay calm during high-impact incidents.
• Ability to document, script, and standardize fixes for long-term reliability.

Nice to have

• ITIL, CompTIA, or Cisco certifications.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance environments.
• Experience supporting IT through mergers and acquisitions.
