Workplace Network Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own the reference network design for every Legora site, including LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN/SD-WAN, VLAN segmentation, DNS/DHCP, and firewall policy.
• Manage the Meraki Dashboard, including templates, firmware, licensing, inventory, alerting, and capacity planning.
• Operate the Tailscale zero-trust network mesh with Information Security, including ACLs, device posture, and access routing.
• Monitor connectivity, manage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and improve network uptime and recovery time.
• Plan network installations and upgrades, coordinate Workplace Technology Leads and external cabling or ISP vendors, and manage acceptance testing.
• Manage connectivity vendors, contracts, SLAs, escalations, budgets, and Tier-2/Tier-3 network escalations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of network engineering or network-focused IT infrastructure experience, including end-to-end ownership of a multi-site corporate network.
• Hands-on experience supporting an Apple-heavy device fleet and troubleshooting networking on Apple hardware and macOS.
• Deep Cisco Meraki experience at multi-site scale, with the ability to design and troubleshoot the underlying routing, segmentation, and RF infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 boundaries, IP addressing, subnetting, IPAM, routing, BGP, dual-circuit failover, SD-WAN, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, QoS, firewall policy, and packet-level troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and migrating multi-site networks without business disruption, setting standards, managing vendors, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Experience with network automation using the Meraki API, Pulumi or Terraform, and scripting.

Nice to have

• CCNP or CCIE-level Cisco expertise; Meraki CMNA or ECMS certification is a plus.
• Production experience with Tailscale or comparable zero-trust network access, including certificate and mTLS fundamentals.
• Experience with office buildouts, structured cabling, physical-security and AV networking, and network monitoring platforms.
• Experience with ITSM platforms, AI-assisted automation, Wi-Fi design tools, and technologies including Verkada, Neat, Zoom, Okta, and 1Password.
