Business Analyst (Remote - US)

Location: 100% remote anywhere within the United States; candidates in Puerto Rico are strongly preferred and must be able to travel to Puerto Rico for periodic in-person meetings and client visits, up to 15%. Relocation assistance to Puerto Rico is not available.

Salary: $67,355–$114,503 per year

What you will do

• Engage stakeholders, gather and document requirements, and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Analyze business data, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to align system enhancements with business requirements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, deliverables, and coordination with government partners and stakeholders.
• Create business cases, use cases, workflow diagrams, reports, and other documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing, solution validation, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least two years of experience in business analysis or a related field, including data analysis and process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common data or reporting tools.
• Must be located in the United States and able to travel to Puerto Rico up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel or SQL.
• Knowledge of Agile, PMBOK, or other project management methodologies.
• Experience preparing reports, dashboards, or performance tracking tools.
• Familiarity with geospatial, environmental, or housing-related programs.
