Technical Program Manager (AI Tooling)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; or remote within the United States. The role also requires in-person onboarding if hired.

Annual base salary: $169,000–$245,000 USD.

What you will do

• Translate product roadmaps and prioritized outcomes into integrated program plans, milestones, release schedules, decision points, and ownership.
• Manage execution of the internal AI tooling roadmap across Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Data, Business Systems, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Build transparent intake, routing, planning, governance, dependency, risk, and decision-management processes.
• Coordinate security reviews, legal and procurement milestones, data dependencies, vendor commitments, and business-system integrations.
• Ensure releases include acceptance criteria, operational ownership, support processes, runbooks, escalation paths, and feedback loops.
• Report on delivery health, adoption readiness, operational performance, and realized impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management or technical delivery experience in cloud, SaaS, enterprise technology, or internal-tools environments.
• Experience leading complex programs across Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Data, Business Systems, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to translate product roadmaps into integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, release schedules, and measurable outcomes.
• Technical fluency with enterprise systems, APIs, integrations, data flows, platform dependencies, identity and access, and software-delivery lifecycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, including the ability to create accountability without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering internal AI tooling, platform, or product programs.
• Experience with responsible AI, model governance, security, privacy, compliance, or AI risk management.
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS, middleware, low-code or no-code automation, identity platforms, data platforms, vendor evaluation, or procurement.
• Experience with change management, enablement, enterprise adoption, Product Operations, or establishing a new program-management practice.
