Staff Technical Program Manager - Security

Location: Hybrid; onsite three days per week in Bellevue, Seattle, San Francisco, or Mountain View, United States

Salary: $189,800–$260,900 USD hourly rate for the San Francisco Bay Area

What you will do

• Own the security program strategy, roadmap, and alignment with business and product goals.
• Drive initiatives across Identity Infrastructure, Data Governance, Platform Security, Machine Learning, and Trust Engineering.
• Lead complex multi-team security programs covering authentication, authorization, secrets, PKI, and cryptography.
• Use expertise in cloud, distributed systems, and security engineering to influence designs, identify risks, and remove dependencies.
• Define security KPIs and OKRs, monitor program health, and measure business impact.
• Present program status, risks, and security posture to executive and technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, security program management, or a comparable technical leadership role.
• Experience translating data privacy, identity access, and trust engineering requirements into technical strategies, architecture decisions, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience resolving priorities and resource constraints across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex technical strategies to senior engineering leaders.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools for program strategy, technical problem-solving, analysis, or automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or complex distributed data-processing environments.
• Prior software, systems, or security engineering experience.
• Familiarity with unified data governance, distributed-systems security, and controls for AI and machine-learning infrastructure.
