Project Management Support, Construction Specialist (Electric Utility)

Location: Hybrid position based in Valencia, California; employees are required to work and reside in California. The role requires reporting to an SCE facility on scheduled days, up to 20% travel and field work across the SCE service territory, and may require extended work at alternate locations.

Salary: $38.46–$57.60 per hour.

What you will do

• Support pre-construction and construction planning for multiple projects from inception through delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and assist project managers with progress reports, milestones, metrics, schedules, and budgets.
• Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and manage documentation, version control, distribution, retention, and access controls.
• Own and maintain SharePoint, OneNote, shared drives, and other project systems while validating data accuracy.
• Prepare presentations and project documentation for management and executive project-gate reviews.
• Identify process improvements and implement enhanced reporting features and formats.

Requirements

• Two or more years of project support experience.
• Must work and reside in California.
• Experience with project management tools and systems, including Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience managing project documentation and data.
• Ability to travel and perform field work for up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience in the electric utility industry.
• Experience with data visualization tools, Design Manager, SAP Ariba, or customer service.
