Project Manager (EV)

Location: Onsite in Henderson, Colorado, with approximately 10% travel throughout Colorado and New Mexico.

Salary: USD $77,000 per year; an additional posting section lists USD $100,000 per year.

Sturgeon Electric Company, a subsidiary of hirify.global, provides large-scale electrical construction services, including transmission, commercial and industrial electrical work, and renewable energy projects.

What you will do

• Prepare cost estimates and oversee the day-to-day execution of electrical construction and EV charging projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, meetings, and open client items across multiple projects.
• Provide guidance on electrical installation requirements, project specifications, applicable standards, and local codes.
• Prepare construction schedules and submit Requests for Information and other project documentation.
• Advise customers throughout the project lifecycle and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and project-site visits.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of electrical specifications, proposals, cost and labor estimating, the National Electrical Code, and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software such as Accubid, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with EV charging infrastructure, commercial electrical construction, design/build projects, or electrical utilities.
