InfoSec Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and own the security strategy, roadmap, budget, operating model, and team.
• Establish security capabilities across cloud infrastructure, identity and access, data protection, application security, vulnerability management, detection, and incident response.
• Embed security throughout customer deployment lifecycles, from architecture and development through production operations.
• Define controls for AI applications, agents, internal AI use, data handling, permissions, integrations, human oversight, prompt injection, sensitive data exposure, and tool misuse.
• Use AI and automation for alert triage, investigations, vulnerability prioritization, and evidence collection.
• Lead audit readiness, customer security reviews, incident response, acquisitions, executive reporting, and security team development.

Requirements

• Significant information security experience with senior leadership responsibility in a technology, enterprise software, or services business.
• Experience building or scaling a security function in a fast-growing organization.
• Technical depth across cloud security, identity, application security, detection, and response.
• Practical experience securing AI-enabled applications or deployments, including models, retrieval systems, agents, and tool integrations.
• Experience leading significant incident response and communicating security risks with executives, boards, enterprise customers, and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to turn security requirements into practical controls and workflows for engineering and delivery teams.
