Manager, Benefits

Location: Hawthorne, California, United States; onsite only and not remote or hybrid. Relocation is required if not already local.

Salary: $135,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead administration of company-wide medical, dental, vision, life, disability, supplemental, and retirement benefit programs, including annual open enrollment.
• Improve benefits administration and employee experience using data-driven analysis.
• Develop and operate employee benefits strategies, wellness programs, leave, workers’ compensation, commuter, relocation, and HRIS data processes.
• Advise employees and dependents on complex or sensitive benefits questions.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Marketing, and Legal partners to deliver employee programs.
• Manage vendors and consultants, and coach and mentor direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience in employee benefits and/or human resources.
• Experience with Excel and large data sets, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Workday or another HRIS is preferred.
• Must work onsite in Hawthorne, California; the role is not remote or hybrid and may require relocation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorization under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• PHR certification or professional HR affiliations.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA or master’s degree in HR.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills.
