Senior Manager, HRIS System Administrator (Workday)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $144,000–$198,000 per year, plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday for HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
• Gather requirements from HR, Finance, and IT and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Administer Workday updates, integrations, permissions, reporting, security, and data integrity.
• Manage external consultants and lead implementation, testing, deployment, and technical documentation for HCM and Payroll projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR and Payroll efficiency through automation and industry insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM and related modules, including Payroll and Benefits.
• 5+ years of experience supporting HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation processes.
• Advanced knowledge of integrations connecting HR, Finance, IT, and downstream or upstream systems.
• Experience leading technical projects through requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and hypercare.
• Experience with technical configuration processes including design, testing, QA, UAT, and deployment planning.
• Ability to manage complex and confidential data with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Workday or related certifications.
• Familiarity with Jira and agile methodologies.
• Experience with additional Workday modules such as Benefits, Compensation, and Performance.
