Team Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Payne, Ohio, United States; onsite plant position.

What you will do

• Oversee operations and production flow for assigned manufacturing lines.
• Ensure materials are available and products are produced and delivered on schedule.
• Troubleshoot downtime and coordinate with supervisors, materials, and powder coat operations.
• Supervise 1–6 floor-level employees across operations, safety, continuous improvement, and development.
• Maintain quality standards, safety policies, production records, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Travel to local plants as required and support production schedules, including some Saturdays and overtime.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience in a similar industry, with problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software, including AX, mobile devices, and scanners.
• Knowledge of machine operation and repair, welding systems, arc and MIG welders, tooling, and related equipment.
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills are required. The role requires approximately 98% standing and walking, frequent bending and climbing, and lifting or moving items over 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Welding operations or quality assurance experience.
• Lean 5S certification.
• Microsoft Office knowledge, public speaking, and strong organization and time management skills.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience and 1–3 months of related team lead experience.
• LCI forklift operator license; training is available.
