Director of Business Process Excellence (Clean Energy)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $155,000–$205,000 per year; midpoint $180,000.

What you will do

• Own enterprise process architecture, standards, governance, and prioritized end-to-end workflow optimization.
• Map current-state processes, analyze bottlenecks, cycle times, rework, capacity constraints, and handoff friction.
• Design target operating models, streamlined workflows, and business requirements that support automation and profitability.
• Re-architect operational value streams involving diagnostic triage, technician dispatch, scheduling, and back-office handoffs.
• Coordinate process talent and functional subject-matter experts across Go-To-Market, Operations, Field Services, and Technology.
• Translate target-state process designs into platform configuration and enterprise software requirements.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise process engineering, value-stream mapping, operational excellence, or management consulting.
• Required Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement qualification.
• Deep experience integrating operational workflows into enterprise platforms such as CRM and Field Service Management tools.
• Experience influencing senior executives and coordinating matrixed teams while executing detailed process work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Systems Engineering, or a technical or quantitative field.
• Applicants must be based in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience in clean energy, renewable technology, technical field service, logistics, or other complex operational environments.
• Advanced degree or MBA.
• Experience supporting global operations, regional expansions, or platform migrations.
