Platform & Sustainability Expert (SaaS)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid work model. Hiring is focused around head offices in Paris, London, and Montpellier.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year

A young B Corporation building a SaaS platform for carbon accounting, ESG metrics, sustainability reporting, and related customer initiatives.

What you will do

• Own or support customer onboarding and implementation projects from planning through handover and adoption.
• Configure sustainability, carbon accounting, reporting, data management, surveys, workflows, historical data, and integrations in the platform.
• Map customer source data to the platform data model, guide ingestion and validation, and troubleshoot configuration, data quality, and workflow issues.
• Lead customer meetings, workshops, demonstrations, training, and implementation discussions while coordinating partners and internal teams.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, scope, documentation, and handovers to Customer Success.
• Apply sustainability and carbon-accounting expertise, provide product feedback, and develop reusable delivery practices, playbooks, and enablement materials.

Requirements

• Experience in customer delivery, consulting, project management, sustainability, carbon accounting, SaaS implementation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, climate frameworks, practical sustainability challenges, and relevant methodologies or disclosure requirements.
• Hands-on SaaS platform configuration or implementation experience, including understanding data flows, module connections, and troubleshooting.
• Experience independently owning customer-facing projects, workstreams, relationships, workshops, training, presentations, and practical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working across functions or with external partners.
• Professional fluency in English is required for customer meetings, workshops, training, written communication, and difficult conversations.

Nice to have

• Advanced spreadsheet or structured-data skills, including SQL, Excel, Sheets, or similar tools.
• Exposure to APIs, data connectors, integrations, or technical implementations in customer-facing contexts.
• Professional fluency in Spanish.
• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
