Talent Acquisition Operating System Architect and Product Owner

Location: Sunnyvale, California headquarters; four days on site each week

What you will do

• Define and deliver a multi-year Talent Acquisition operations, programs, and transformation strategy aligned with global hiring priorities.
• Design the global operating model, governance, service standards, decision rights, business rhythms, and cross-functional handoffs.
• Architect an AI-native Talent Acquisition Operating System connecting Ashby and other approved tools through governed workflows.
• Own the portfolio lifecycle of AI agents and automations, including business cases, data boundaries, human review, testing, measurement, and retirement criteria.
• Build talent intelligence, knowledge systems, executive reporting, early-career recruiting, and global Talent Acquisition programs.
• Lead a distributed team of five contractors and drive transformation through enablement, change management, vendor strategy, budgeting, and portfolio governance.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition operations, recruiting programs, People Operations, or a related field, including complex global work.
• Experience building or scaling Talent Acquisition operations in technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, or a similarly complex global environment.
• Experience architecting AI-enabled operating models or enterprise workflow transformation, including automation portfolios, governance, adoption, and measurement.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting systems, process design, data governance, analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting; Ashby or a comparable ATS is valuable.
• Experience with early-career, internship, university recruiting, or other enterprise talent programs with measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated success leading distributed employees and contingent professionals, managing portfolios and vendors, influencing executives, and making decisions with incomplete information.

Nice to have

• Engineering depth is not required; the role emphasizes translating operating problems into workflow, technology, and data requirements.
• Experience applying sound judgment to privacy, security, fairness, data boundaries, and human ownership in AI-enabled processes.
