Community & Content Manager (AI Compute)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid, with in-office work required at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Grow the audience and community around The Compute 100 among founders, engineers, researchers, and investors in AI infrastructure and compute.
• Write and publish social and editorial content for X, LinkedIn, and newsletter-style channels.
• Convert partner conversations, portfolio developments, podcasts, and events into content across multiple formats.
• Coordinate podcast concepts, guest sourcing, editorial preparation, asset distribution, and promotion without owning video production or editing.
• Plan and run Bay Area dinners, salons, and meetups, including guest lists, venues, communications, production timelines, run of show, and follow-up.
• Build relationships with compute communities in San Francisco and manage connected content and event calendars.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in content, editorial, community, or events, ideally at a media company, technology platform, venture firm, or startup.
• Strong fluency in and curiosity about AI infrastructure and compute, including companies, investments, technical shifts, and industry discussions.
• An active network of builders, researchers, investors, and other compute-focused professionals in San Francisco.
• Strong writing, editorial judgment, research, and audience-building skills across X, newsletters, and podcasts.
• Experience planning and running in-person events from concept through follow-up.
• Exceptional organization, comfort with ambiguity, hands-on use of AI tools, and a bias toward action.
