Manufacturing Operations Technician II

Location: Onsite in Lakewood, Colorado, USA

Base compensation: $24.64–$30.77 per hour, plus an annual 10% bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Operate, set up, monitor, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing equipment and production lines.
• Troubleshoot machinery, process, and material issues; perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs, improve quality, and minimize waste.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products and document quality results and corrective actions.
• Maintain production, equipment, quality, and maintenance records and prepare performance reports.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams; guide junior technicians or operators on processes, equipment, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or operations, including production and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to analyze complex operational issues and maintain detailed quality and production documentation.
• Ability to work onsite with extended standing or sitting, handle scientific instruments and small samples, and comply with PPE, OSHA, safety, and environmental requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
• Experience with scientific instruments, calibration, or metrology.
