Manufacturing Technician II (T2) 2nd Shift (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements under moderate supervision.
• Receive and audit parts, verify availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Complete job documentation and data entry covering progress, expenses, and labor details.
• Perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, work in tight spaces, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery including forklifts.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while using required personal protective equipment.

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or relevant training.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills based on operating procedures or scientific methods.
• ASSEET or BSEET training, including DeVry or TSTC programs.
