Quality Analyst II (Healthcare)

Location: United States; fully office-based, fully remote, or hybrid work is available. Occasional travel to the Blacksburg office or other locations may be required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $69,656–$98,368 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze product risks, investigate defects across browsers and devices, and identify root causes through exploratory testing.
• Consult with clients and project teams on quality improvements and advocate for end-user experience, functionality, design, and accessibility.
• Design and execute JMeter performance tests and conduct API testing to validate service communication and stability.
• Evaluate web applications against security fundamentals and maintain automated test suites using Mabl and Appium.
• Document reproducible defects and technical user guides, and oversee quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of context-driven testing experience or equivalent education.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, test-design, communication, and technical consulting skills.
• Understanding of API structures, web security, automated testing patterns, and development and design languages.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or consulting agency experience.
• JMeter, Postman, API testing, web security, web accessibility guidelines, and automated test suite experience.
• Experience with modeling, test design, mind maps, Rapid Software Testing, and AI tools for testing workflows.
