QA Analyst, Console (Cybersecurity)

Location: 100% remote within the United States, with an optional hybrid schedule for candidates in the El Dorado Hills, California or Chicago, Illinois metro areas. U.S. Person status is required for work involving GovCloud environments.

What you will do

• Test web-based enterprise Admin Console applications for functionality, usability, reliability, and regression issues.
• Validate backend APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases based on requirements, technical specifications, and user stories.
• Test authentication, authorization, permissions, role-based access controls, administrative workflows, and cross-browser behavior.
• Document, reproduce, and track defects while validating fixes with Engineering, Product, and QA.
• Maintain test coverage and execution results and use AI-assisted tools to support test design, analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, web application testing, or a related QA role.
• Experience testing enterprise web applications, administrative consoles, or SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern browser behavior, and backend API testing.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, permissions, and role-based access control concepts.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Confluence, or similar test and defect management platforms.
• Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice to have

• Experience testing identity, cybersecurity, or other security-sensitive enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure, SAML, SCIM, SSO, Docker, VMware, or automated web and API testing tools.
