QA Analyst, Mobile (iOS)

Location: Remote in the United States; hybrid work is available for candidates in the El Dorado Hills, California or Chicago, Illinois metro areas.

What you will do

• Design, maintain and execute test cases for native iOS applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability and release testing across iPhone and iPad devices.
• Validate features, fixes, authentication, account access, synchronization and other API-driven mobile workflows.
• Reproduce, document and track defects using logs, screenshots and detailed technical information.
• Collaborate with Mobile Engineering, Product and QA teams to identify root causes and validate fixes.
• Maintain regression suites and QA documentation, identify coverage gaps and define scenarios for automation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mobile QA, software testing or iOS application testing.
• Strong hands-on experience testing native iOS applications across multiple iPhone and iPad devices and iOS versions.
• Familiarity with Xcode, iOS Simulator, Apple diagnostic tools, test management, issue tracking and source control tools.
• Strong understanding of mobile application behavior, client-server communication, API-driven workflows, defect analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing, Agile development and release processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; willingness to use AI-assisted tools is required.

Nice to have

• Experience testing cybersecurity, identity, password management or other security-sensitive mobile applications.
• Familiarity with XCUITest, Appium, Postman, TestFlight and App Store release workflows.
• Experience testing biometrics, passkeys, MFA, SSO, mobile performance, accessibility and network conditions.
• Experience validating applications across both iOS and Android.
