Recruiter - Manufacturing / Skilled Trades

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. The position starts 100% onsite in northeast San Antonio, with travel likely between the temporary site and the permanent Brooks location. Hybrid flexibility may become available as the plant transitions out of start-up mode.

What you will do

• Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR colleagues to meet talent goals.
• Develop and execute talent strategies for manufacturing and skilled trades hiring.
• Identify, attract, and assess front-line production and skilled trades candidates.
• Guide stakeholders on talent acquisition policies and maintain a positive candidate experience.
• Collaborate on onboarding, employee experience, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of talent acquisition experience in a manufacturing plant and/or construction industry.
• Experience building relationships with and influencing stakeholders throughout the end-to-end recruiting process.
• General knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, follow-up, multitasking, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a changing plant start-up environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Greenhouse or comparable ATS/CRM systems.
• Knowledge of the San Antonio manufacturing and construction labor market.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
