Compliance Analyst (Health Insurance)

What you will do

• Review marketing copy and customer-facing materials against insurance policies, regulations, and federal advertising requirements.
• Maintain advertising files, approval records, compliance records, policies, procedures, and audit evidence.
• Execute monitoring and testing procedures by pulling samples, gathering evidence, documenting results, and tracking remediation.
• Conduct second-line reviews of customer onboarding, KYB/C cases, transaction monitoring escalations, and EDD requests.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Financial Partnerships to answer routine compliance questions and escalate complex matters.
• Support employee compliance training delivery and completion tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory operations, risk, audit, or a closely related function.
• Experience in at least one regulated environment, such as insurance, banking or payments, securities, healthcare, or employee benefits.
• Strong writing skills, precision with detail, and the ability to produce clear, reliable documentation.
• Highly organized approach to recurring workflows, competing deadlines, and issue tracking.
• Curiosity about overlapping regulatory regimes and sound judgment about when to escalate questions.

Nice to have

• Experience in health insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Hands-on KYB/C, AML, or transaction monitoring alert review experience.
• Experience executing control testing or supporting an audit or regulatory examination.
• Familiarity with modern compliance tooling and interest in using AI to improve recurring review work and documentation.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment where procedures and decision frameworks were still evolving.
