Compliance Testing Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, Lehi, or New York, United States; in-office attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote placement will not be considered. Local working hours are required across PT, MT, or ET time zones. Relocation may be offered based on job level, and travel to offices or other locations may be required.

Salary: $90,000–$128,000 annual base salary, plus potential equity and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design, lead, and execute compliance testing reviews covering consumer compliance risks, control design, and operating effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps and recommend practical enhancements aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Use data analytics, SQL, and monitoring capabilities to test system- and data-driven processes.
• Prepare testing reports and workpapers covering findings, risks, recommendations, and results.
• Track compliance issues through remediation and partner with business, Compliance Advisory, and senior leadership.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, process and control assessments, tester reviews, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in banking or financial services, including compliance testing, internal audit, or a related compliance function.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws, regulatory compliance risks, and related controls.
• Experience testing regulations including ECOA, UDAAP, TILA, TISA, FCRA, EFTA, EFAA, and SCRA.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience using SQL to query and analyze data; familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools is a plus.

• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Ability to identify appropriate applications of AI in compliance research, testing, analysis, and documentation while applying human validation and sound judgment.
