Operations and Maintenance Technician Floater - Fueling Stations (CNG)

Location: Detroit, Michigan, United States; travel to other locations and routine site visits required.

Salary: $32.00–$36.00 per hour, plus bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, instruments, automated equipment, and CNG compressor components.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, electrical systems, and safety devices.
• Conduct daily walk-around inspections, identify hazards, maintain housekeeping standards, and report equipment failures.
• Respond to emergency and preventive-maintenance calls and remain available for 24-hour on-call coverage.
• Service customer accounts through calls and site visits, coordinate vendor compliance, and travel to other locations.
• Document service actions, arrange travel, and track expenses through reports, logs, and records.

Requirements

• Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to inspect and test electrical systems, read schematics, and use test equipment and hand tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and travel to other locations.
• Expected to work at least 40 hours per week.
