Maintenance Mechanic (District Energy)

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Salary: $34.11–$45.84 per hour, plus a 10% bonus target

What you will do

• Maintain and repair plant equipment, basic piping systems, valves, traps, pumps, and related machinery.
• Install, replace, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and competently.
• Maintain safe and clean working conditions and identify or correct unsafe environments.
• Support environmental compliance and participate in on-scene work under direction.
• Work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting company insurance standards.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds and climb to heights of up to 100 feet.
• Ability to work in heat and perform standing, walking, lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching.
• Successful completion of a company-provided pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Nice to have

• 6G Welding Certification.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing and work with minimal supervision.
