Maintenance Technician

Location: On-site in Angleton, Texas, United States. The role includes shift work, overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call work, and up to 10% domestic or international travel.

Salary: $31–$37 per hour. The starting rate may be $31.05, with potential progression to $39.06.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and components, including motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, bearings, clutches, brakes, and couplings.
• Maintain and adjust hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, conveyor, extruder, and variable-speed power transmission systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs, modifications, and adjustments to restore reliability and performance.
• Support preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot and modify PLC, HMI, and control-system programs to support equipment operation.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution.
• A two-year technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical/electronic, systems/process automation, or maintenance; alternatively, at least three years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, shifts, and on call.
• Passing the required hirify.global employment testing is part of the selection process.

Nice to have

• Five years of manufacturing, equipment installation, and maintenance troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens Step7 PLCs, drives, and components.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, prints, drawings, and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of mechanical concepts and experience with 480VAC and 700VDC electrical systems.
