  • Optimize cell-based assays for robustness, reproducibility, and scalability by evaluating cell culture and assay parameters.
  • Establish experimental controls, quality criteria, and standardized workflows for consistent assay execution.
  • Conduct follow-up studies in relevant cellular models and investigate biological factors affecting delivery performance.
  • Troubleshoot protocols, adapt new methods, and use scientific literature to guide experimental design.
  • Analyze, document, and communicate results while collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or equivalent degree in cell biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and a strong foundation in cell and molecular biology.
  • Experience with cell-based assays and plate-based experimental workflows.
  • Ability to organize and document experiments clearly and maintain accurate laboratory records.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Must already hold U.S. work authorization and maintain it without future immigration sponsorship; only U.S. persons eligible under export-control requirements may apply.

Nice to have

  • GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent academic achievement.
  • Experience with fluorescence microscopy or imaging techniques.
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis and visualization using Excel, GraphPad Prism, or similar tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot experiments, critically evaluate results, and learn new laboratory techniques.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary, in-person research environment with direct mentorship.
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick time, holidays, volunteer days, and a discretionary year-end shutdown.
