I Inspector (Aerospace)

Location: Kent, Washington, United States; on-site manufacturing facility

Salary: $27.82–$32.73 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct detailed dimensional and visual inspections of critical parts and assemblies across first article, in-process, incoming material, and final inspection stages.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, model-based definitions, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Select and use appropriate measuring devices for inspection applications.
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102.
• Research planning documents, work orders, purchase orders, engineering records, and specifications to resolve inspection requirements.
• Document findings and accept or reject products while supporting customer-focused quality responses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of quality assurance or inspection experience; aerospace or aviation experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Forms.
• Strong reading, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience interpreting work instructions, procedures, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience with source inspection activities.
• Aerospace or aviation industry experience.
