Location: Brea, California, United States; onsite role

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Assurance engineering and project quality organization.
  • Assign and prioritize QA resources across projects and company initiatives.
  • Provide quality leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from contract review through manufacturing, testing, inspection, and final delivery.
  • Oversee quality requirements across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, testing, and product release.
  • Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers on quality matters.
  • Monitor nonconformances, corrective actions, quality metrics, customer quality issues, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance management role, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with audits, nonconformance management, corrective action, root-cause analysis, and quality improvement.
  • Ability to interpret customer, contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and project management.
  • Experience in the commercial nuclear industry and familiarity with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ISO 9001, or ISO 19443.

Nice to have

  • Engineering or technical background in valves, mechanical equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Lead Auditor or Quality Auditor certification.
