EHS Professional (Environmental Health & Safety)

Location: Post Falls, Idaho, United States; on-site work involving extended standing and walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Salary: $89,400–$134,100 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Manage environmental and safety compliance programs and support customer requirements.
• Advise managers and employees, research regulations, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, construction, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in audits, inspections, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance activities, and Management of Change reviews.
• Investigate incidents and hazards, support root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to equipment safety design, site safety committees, and the development of EHS processes for new facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of EHS-related experience and experience with multiple EHS programs.
• Professional certification such as ASP or OHST.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, strong organization, attention to detail, writing, grammar, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Negative drug test results and a satisfactory background check are required.

Nice to have

• EHS experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience as an ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 internal auditor.
