Supervisor Quality Control (Quality Assurance)

Location: Morris Plains, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $76,640–$114,960 annual base pay, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive equal to 10% of base pay.

What you will do

• Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily activities for the site quality control team.
• Manage hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development for a mid-size team of quality assurance professionals.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, test procedures, technical QC systems, acceptance criteria, and quality KPIs.
• Support internal quality audits and external regulatory or customer audits, including audit responses and corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations for non-conformances, out-of-specification events, and customer complaints, and drive CAPA activities to closure.
• Manage Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce variation, eliminate waste, improve inspection cycle times, and strengthen quality performance.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry.
• 6–9 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year as a team lead or supervisor.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards and guidelines.
• Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
