Industrial Security Facilities Intern

Location: Fully on-site in Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; San Diego, CA; or Mt. Laurel, NJ

Salary: $28.00–$34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support daily facilities operations, office maintenance, supplies, equipment, workspace readiness, and employee facilities requests.
• Assist with facility inspections, maintenance, safety, housekeeping, health, security, and emergency-preparedness procedures.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, building management, service requests, repairs, office moves, workspace setups, events, and facilities projects.
• Maintain records for facilities requests, work orders, inventory, mail and package receipt, contract materials, and information systems.
• Support classified and unclassified operations, security training and briefings, visitor procedures, clearance processing, and FSO compliance assessments.
• Revise and validate procedures and learn to operate the inventory management system.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program in Business Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, International Studies, or a related field.
• College juniors or rising seniors are preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong attention to detail.
• Initiative, reliability, teamwork, collaboration, analytical ability, ownership, urgency, and drive.
