IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager

Location: Niwot, Colorado, United States; hybrid with on-site presence at least 3 days per week

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 base salary per year, depending on experience; performance bonus eligible

What you will do

• Lead the newly internalized Infrastructure and Operations team, including direction-setting, talent development, performance management, and capability building.
• Own the design, implementation, lifecycle management, and operational performance of global network, server, storage, endpoint, cloud, telecom, and collaboration infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps that improve reliability, scalability, security, user experience, and cost effectiveness.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, vulnerability remediation, patch governance, backup and recovery, disaster recovery testing, audit support, and infrastructure risk management.
• Establish proactive service management through monitoring, automation, root cause analysis, runbooks, incident management, change management, and operational KPIs.
• Manage compliance initiatives, technology evaluation, strategic vendors, contractors, and technology partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure, operations, service desk, or enterprise technology experience, including 3+ years leading technical teams or infrastructure and operations services.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID/Active Directory, endpoint management, identity and access management, and collaboration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS, plus ITIL or another service management framework.
• Experience managing networks, servers, storage, security, telecom, data centers, unified communications, business continuity, and distributed global environments.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Niwot environment and be on-site at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA/CCNP, Security+, or PMP certification.
