IT Infrastructure Operations Sr. Manager (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Lead global managed service providers responsible for infrastructure operations, monitoring, endpoint support, network services, and cloud operations.
• Own operational performance, service delivery, governance, vendor accountability, KPIs, scorecards, and service reviews.
• Ensure reliable operation of cloud platforms, datacenter infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity services, endpoint management, networks, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Lead major incident response, problem management, change management, service restoration, and operational readiness for infrastructure projects.
• Partner with Site IT leaders across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC on business initiatives, manufacturing operations, infrastructure projects, and site migrations.
• Improve global operations through automation, standardization, service reliability initiatives, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience leading global infrastructure operations in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience managing global managed service providers and large operational teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and service-level management.
• Working knowledge of Computer System Validation, CFR Part 11, quality systems, regulated IT environments, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

• Experience supporting SAP and related enterprise applications.
• Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
