What you will do
- Design, control, and optimize material-processing operations including unwinding, splicing, web guiding, coating, tension control, drying, cooling, winding, hot melt compounding, and extrusion.
- Provide daily technical support to coating operations, resolve production and quality issues, and support equipment reliability with Maintenance.
- Lead engineering projects involving loss reduction, equipment upgrades, process sequence changes, and capital equipment acquisitions.
- Support new product introductions, define raw material specifications, perform component failure analyses, and assess product fitness for use.
- Improve EH&S performance and create troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures, and operator training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
- 2–6 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of process optimization and web handling or coating processes.
- Understanding of engineering software, hardware systems, technical process controls, and function-specific software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, matrixed manufacturing environment and build effective relationships across organizational levels.
- Onsite work in Peachtree City, Georgia, USA is required.

- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
- Practical experience applying Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
