Director, Finance and Strategy (Manufacturing)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and ad hoc decisions.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, working capital, EBITDA, and other financial performance drivers.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate risks, opportunities, trade-offs, and business decisions.
• Partner with operations, commercial, supply chain, accounting, and senior leadership on performance, capacity, pricing, productivity, labor, and material-cost analysis.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting, leadership reviews, and board-level materials with clear recommendations.
• Support selective M&A evaluations through financial modeling, data analysis, and diligence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
• Strong understanding of the three financial statements and how operational decisions affect revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and building models from scratch.
• Ability to independently analyze large, complex, incomplete, or evolving data sets and ambiguous business questions.
• Strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, accuracy, urgency, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including synthesizing complex analysis for senior leadership.
