Head of Finance (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States. Must work extended hours and/or weekends as needed and travel to lenders, customers, government offices, and factory sites.

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annually plus equity.

Rangeview is building an advanced production foundry for gas turbine hot-section parts serving defense, aerospace, and energy customers through software, automation, materials science, and modern financing.

What you will do

• Lead finance, capital strategy, financial planning, accounting, and financial controls as the first finance hire.
• Structure and close non-dilutive and low-cost financing for factory buildouts, including project finance, equipment financing, contract-backed facilities, and government loan programs.
• Work with business development and legal to turn production contracts into bankable collateral through contract structure, take-or-pay terms, milestones, and offtake commitments.
• Build relationships with lenders, private credit providers, banks, export credit agencies, equipment lessors, strategic investors, and government capital programs.
• Own the financial model, capital plan, cash forecast, board materials, investor reporting, covenant compliance, and lender reporting.
• Hire and manage a controller and financial analyst while establishing accounting, monthly close, reporting, internal controls, and finance systems for multi-site manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years of investment banking experience at a bulge-bracket bank or top-tier boutique, focused on industrials, aerospace and defense, leveraged finance, or M&A.
• 3+ years of experience in private credit, direct lending, structured credit, or project finance, including originating, underwriting, and closing transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to take financings from term sheet to close, including negotiating structure, covenants, and documentation.
• Expertise in financial modeling, including project and corporate models, debt sizing, covenant testing, and scenario analysis, plus working knowledge of GAAP.
• Must be able to work onsite in El Segundo, California, and meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Department of Defense Office of Strategic Capital, Defense Production Act Title III, Department of Energy Loan Programs Office, EXIM, SBA, or similar programs.
• Experience financing manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or other hard-asset projects against offtake or production contracts.
• Experience with equipment financing, sale-leaseback, asset-based lending, ERP, accounting, or FP&A platforms.
• Knowledge of government contract accounting, FAR and DFARS cost principles, and CAS.
• CFA, CPA, or MBA.
