Director of Finance (Healthcare)

Location: New York, NY; Remote

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the FP&A and strategic finance function while partnering with Accounting, senior leadership, department leaders, and the board.
• Build, own, and improve an integrated three-statement financial model for planning, scenario analysis, and fundraising.
• Lead annual budgeting, recurring forecasting, long-range planning, and 13-week and full-year cash forecasting.
• Develop runway, hiring, churn, and other scenario models to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare board decks, investor reporting, and diligence-ready materials while owning SaaS and healthcare metrics.
• Lead headcount and compensation planning, support monthly close variance analysis, and mentor finance team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, including finance leadership at a growth-stage technology or healthcare company.
• Expertise in dynamic, integrated three-statement financial modeling and strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of SaaS and healthcare metrics and business models, including NRR, CARR, and gross margin.
• Experience supporting or preparing for fundraising or due diligence processes.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, and Google Sheets; ability to explain complex financial concepts to business and technical stakeholders.

• Healthcare technology or Pharmacy Benefit Management experience.
• Exposure to M&A or post-acquisition integration.
• Experience at a Series C through E venture-backed startup.
• Familiarity with modern financial planning tools.
