Senior Facilities & Equipment Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, with alternative locations in Dublin, Ohio; Ashburn, Virginia; South Bend, Indiana; Ridgeland, Mississippi; Atlanta, Georgia; or Greenfield, Indiana. Regular travel to East Coast facilities, supplier sites, compliance audits, and conferences is required.

What you will do

• Manage facilities across manufacturing, office, warehouse, and other business environments totaling more than 800,000 square feet.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility infrastructure, including repairs, performance monitoring, upgrades, and replacements.
• Plan site improvement projects, major maintenance activities, scheduled shutdowns, and equipment audits.
• Implement SOP, MOP, and EOP standards while maintaining facility compliance with local, county, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage vendors, landlords, facility-related obligations, project timelines, budgets, and business partnerships.
• Provide 24/7 operational support, emergency response, and leadership for up to four roles across multiple states.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and certifications.
• 8+ years of facilities management experience in manufacturing, office, and warehouse environments.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience covering people management, project management, and departmental budgets.
• Experience with governmental agencies, permitting, complex project approvals, vendor management, negotiation, and hands-on repairs.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC assessment and troubleshooting skills, along with strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and availability for emergency response outside standard hours. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical work is required.
