Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Location: Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA; on-site, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends required.

Salary: $32.00–$36.00+ per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and improve maintenance programs for the plant.
• Maintain production equipment involving chemicals and adhesives, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Install new machinery and support commissioning activities.
• Complete repair, purchasing, audit, and compliance documentation.
• Train team members in basic maintenance practices while following safety and high-hazard task procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of technical training and maintenance experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience with pumps, mixers, and general machinery.
• PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts, lifts, and hoists and work at heights.

Nice to have

• Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training.
• Pipefitting experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
