Area Manager, Maintenance Facilities (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States. On-site position.

What you will do

• Perform and coordinate corrective, preventive, planned, and predictive maintenance for warehouse equipment, conveyors, racking, powered industrial trucks, HVAC, compressors, water filtration, and other building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, HVAC, and PLC-related issues.
• Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, hazardous-energy controls, lockout/tagout procedures, and required maintenance documentation.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions, coordinating repairs with production personnel to minimize downtime.
• Analyze maintenance trends, identify process optimization and cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain work orders, technical data, Safety Data Sheets, tools, and repair records in systems such as Maintenance Connection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
• 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
• High school diploma or GED and formal training or certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC systems, or HVAC.
• Experience troubleshooting and operating advanced technical equipment, PLC systems, and CMMS systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English; Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, use lifts, and perform physically demanding work during shifts of up to 12 hours.
