Clinical Learning and Development Manager

What you will do

• Own the learning and development plan for clinical teams, aligned with business priorities, service growth and workforce capability.
• Design and deliver onboarding, induction, ongoing development programmes, workshops, digital learning and coaching.
• Develop competency frameworks, learning pathways and consistent approaches to assessing clinical knowledge, skills and competence.
• Translate clinical policies, pathways, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements into practical learning.
• Partner with Clinical Governance, Quality, Safeguarding, operational leaders and subject-matter experts on clinical change and transformation.
• Measure learning impact using assessments, feedback, audits, quality data, incidents, complaints and patient feedback.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Learning and Development, workforce development, operational training or a similar role.
• Understanding of clinical or healthcare environments, including patient safety, clinical governance, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Experience designing and delivering learning programmes for specialist, operational or regulated teams.
• Experience developing onboarding programmes, learning pathways or competency frameworks.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, stakeholder-management, project-management and organisational skills.
• Confidence using learning management systems, digital learning tools and reporting platforms.
